Reading: Colossians 1:9-10; James 1:22-25

Devotional:
Paul prays that believers would be filled with the knowledge of God's will, accompanied by spiritual wisdom and understanding. But knowledge alone isn't enough—we must apply it. Knowing what Scripture says about forgiveness means nothing if we refuse to forgive. Understanding generosity is worthless if we remain stingy.
Being filled with God's will means being under its controlling influence. It's not natural to pray constantly for others, to forgive enemies, or to sacrifice our rights. But when we're controlled by His will, we do what we wouldn't naturally do.
Wisdom comprehends truth; understanding applies it. We please God when we don't just know His Word but live it out in every respect.
