Trust, Repent, Endure - Repeat
Reading: 2 Peter 1:3-11; James 1:2-4
Devotional: The Christian life isn't a single moment of faith but a daily rhythm: trust God, repent when you fail, endure through trials. Repeat. Peter lists qualities that grow from faith—goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, kindness, love. These don't appear overnight. They develop through the cycle of trusting God in difficulty, repenting when you stumble, and enduring to the next challenge. James adds that testing produces perseverance, which leads to maturity. This is the authentic faith journey—not a fraudulent performance where everything appears perfect, but a genuine walk where you trust God's promises more than your circumstances. Commitment to this process, not perfection in it, marks real faith. Keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep getting back up.
