Devotional: Revival begins with humility. God's promise is clear: if His people will humble themselves and pray, He will hear from heaven and heal their land. Fasting is a biblical pathway to humility—it reminds us of our dependence on God rather than physical provision. When Ezra needed God's protection, he proclaimed a fast so the people could humble themselves before God. This wasn't about performance; it was about positioning their hearts. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. You can choose to humble yourself through prayer and fasting, or circumstances may humble you. Which will you choose? As you enter this season of seeking God, let humility be your foundation. Acknowledge your need for Him in every area of life.
