The Gospel of Peace and Shield of Faith
Reading: Isaiah 26:3; Romans 5:1-2; Hebrews 11:1, 6
Devotional: Perfect peace belongs to those whose minds are fixed on God. This supernatural peace—the very peace of Christ—is yours when you walk in alignment with God's will. Are you experiencing this peace today, or is anxiety consuming you? The gospel brings peace with God, peace within yourself, and readiness to stand firm. Coupled with this is the shield of faith, capable of extinguishing every flaming arrow the enemy launches. Faith isn't positive thinking; it's trust in Jesus Christ. When doubts assault your mind, when circumstances seem overwhelming, lift the shield of faith. Declare God's promises. Trust His character. Faith the size of a mustard seed moves mountains. Your victory doesn't depend on your strength but on the faithfulness of the One in whom you believe.
