Reading: Matthew 22:37-40; 1 John 4:7-12

Devotional: Jesus simplified everything into two commands: love God completely and love your neighbor as yourself. This isn't sentimental feeling—it's active, sacrificial commitment. Biblical love means choosing others' good even when it costs you something. Your neighbor isn't just the person next door; it's the difficult coworker, the stranger at the store, the person who wronged you. Love is the hallmark of Christian community. When we love authentically, we reflect God's character to a watching world. This love flows from experiencing God's love first. You cannot give what you haven't received. As you abide in His love, it overflows naturally to others, transforming your community from the inside out.
