Reading: Isaiah 56:7; Mark 11:17; James 4:6-10
Devotional: God's house is called a house of prayer for all people—not just the ones we like or agree with. Before we can see transformation in our communities, we must first recognize our desperate need for God. The Great Awakening didn't begin with perfect people; it started when ordinary believers acknowledged their brokenness and cried out for God's intervention. Humility precedes revival. We cannot demand that God fix the drug dealer, the broken family, or the struggling neighbor until we first pray, "Lord, change me." God gives grace to the humble but opposes the proud. When we approach Him with humble hearts, confessing our own need for transformation, we create fertile ground for His miraculous work. Today, pray first for your own heart to change.
