Falling Short Doesn't Disqualify You

Reading: Romans 7:14-25; Philippians 3:12-14
Devotional: Paul, the great apostle, confessed, "I do not understand what I'm doing. I don't practice what I want to do, but I do the very thing I hate." If Paul struggled with repeated failure, you're in good company. Authentic faith doesn't claim perfection—it claims God's grace in imperfection. The difference between real and fraudulent faith isn't sinlessness; it's the response to sin. Do you quit, make excuses, or press on? Paul said, "I press on to take hold of that for which Christ took hold of me." Every time you fall, God offers His hand to lift you up. Your job isn't to be perfect—it's to keep getting back up, trusting His forgiveness, and pressing forward.
Reflection Question: What area of repeated failure needs God's grace today? Will you press on or give up?
