Devotional: The kingdom of God is not merely a future promise—it is a present reality. When Jesus walked the earth, He proclaimed the gospel of the kingdom, demonstrating that God's rule has broken into our world. Before Christ, we lived under the law. After Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, empowering us to live as kingdom citizens today.

This changes everything. You are not waiting for heaven to experience God's kingdom; you are living in it now. The same Holy Spirit who raised Christ from the dead lives in you, equipping you with gifts to advance His kingdom. Your present hope and future hope are secure in Christ.

Reflection: How does knowing the kingdom is present now change how you approach today? What would it look like to live as a kingdom citizen in your workplace, home, or school?
