The Freedom of "I Get To"
Reading: Romans 8:14-17; Galatians 4:4-7
Devotional: Performance-based religion whispers, "You have to." Grace declares, "You get to." Because of Jesus, you're not a slave working to earn approval—you're a child who's already fully loved. You don't have to pray, read Scripture, or worship to make God love you more; you get to do these things because you're already His beloved. This shift transforms everything. Prayer becomes conversation with a Father who delights in you, not a religious duty to check off. Bible reading becomes receiving love letters, not studying for a test. Worship becomes celebration, not obligation. Today, examine your spiritual practices. Are you striving to earn what's already yours, or are you enjoying the privileges of sonship? You don't have to.
