Reading: 1 Timothy 2:1-8; John 17:20-23
Devotional: In God's eyes, there is only one Church—His Church. Yet we often allow denominational differences, theological disputes, and past hurts to divide us. Historic revivals occurred when believers set aside their differences and came together in unified prayer. The Azusa Street Revival broke racial and social barriers because people prioritized God's presence over being right. Paul urged that prayers be made for all people, and that men everywhere pray "without anger and dispute." Imagine the impact if every church in your community joined together in prayer for revival! God is not confused by our divisions, but He is grieved by them. Today, pray for churches you've disagreed with. Ask God to bring His presence powerfully to every congregation, creating unity in the essentials and grace in the differences.
