Reading: 1 John 2:1-5
Devotional: John does not write to condemn but to challenge. Obedience is not the means of earning salvation — it is the evidence of it. When the Holy Spirit truly dwells within us, something changes from the inside out. The darkness begins to give way to light. Old habits, old attitudes, and old patterns are slowly displaced by the character of Christ. This is not perfection — it is progression. God is not finished with you. He is still perfecting His love in you, pressing into every hidden corner, bringing light to every locked room. Surrender what you have been protecting.
Personal Reflection: Is there an area of your life where you have resisted obedience? What would it look like to surrender that to God today?
