Daily Devotion 09/29/26

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17-19
Devotional: When God saves you, He does not simply improve the old version of you. He does not polish up your past self and send you back out. He makes you entirely new. This is not a motivational idea — it is a spiritual reality. The old things have passed away. The problem is that many of us continue reaching back for those old things, carrying habits, sins, and identities that no longer belong to us. You are not who your past says you are. You are who God says you are. Today, walk in the identity of the new creation He has already made you to be.
Reflection Question: What parts of your old identity are you still allowing to define you?
Practical Application: Identify one label from your past that you have allowed to stick. Write it down, then write beside it what God's Word says about who you are in Christ. Choose today to believe His words over your history.
