Daily Devotion 09/28/26

Reading: Ephesians 1:7-8
Devotional: One of the greatest lies the enemy whispers is that you must clean yourself up before God will accept you. But grace does not work that way. Paul describes God's forgiveness as something lavished upon us — poured out without hesitation or reluctance. God made the first move toward you long before you were ready. He is not standing at a distance waiting for you to become worthy. He is already present, already loving, already extending grace. Today, release the idea that you must earn your way to Him. Simply come as you are and receive what He has already freely given.
Reflection Question: In what ways have you believed you needed to be "ready" before approaching God?
Practical Application: Write down one area of your life where you have been withholding yourself from God, believing you were not yet good enough. Bring that specific area to Him in prayer today.
