Devotional: Growth in Christ is not accidental. It requires intentionality, consistency, and a willingness to stay planted even when another field looks more exciting. Many believers stunt their own spiritual development by constantly chasing the next exciting thing -- a different church, a better preacher, a more emotional worship experience. But fruit does not grow in wandering. It grows in rootedness. The summer season of the Christian life is where depth forms, where Scripture becomes personal, and where the Holy Spirit begins to shape character from the inside out. Stop chasing what grows elsewhere. Tend what God has placed in your hands.
