Fresh Mercies Every Morning
Reading: Lamentations 3:19-26
Devotional:
Jeremiah wrote these words while watching Jerusalem burn—his world was literally a dumpster fire. Yet in the midst of devastation, he chose to remember God's faithful love and new mercies. Yesterday's manna sustained yesterday; today requires fresh bread. Your relationship with Jesus needs daily nourishment, not yesterday's leftovers. Complacency whispers that you already know everything the Bible has to say. But God's Word is living and active, offering fresh revelation each time you approach with hunger. Don't settle for spiritual staleness. Come to Scripture today not as a checkbox on your religious to-do list, but as a desperate soul seeking the Bread of Life. What fresh mercy might God have for you this morning?
