The Battle Against Sin

Reading: Romans 6:1-14; Galatians 5:16-26
Devotional: Sin often feels good in the moment—that's why it's a battle, not a casual stroll. If sin were easy to resist, we wouldn't need a Savior. But here's the truth: sin no longer has power over you when you belong to Christ. There's a difference between struggling against sin and embracing it. Struggling means you're fighting; you're in the war on the right side. The Holy Spirit dwells within you, going everywhere you go. When you watch something, He watches it. When you speak to someone, He's present. This reality should transform how we live. Victory doesn't mean perfection; it means we're being transformed from the inside out, choosing obedience even when our flesh craves something different.
Reflection: What sin are you currently battling? Are you fighting it or have you begun to embrace it? Invite the Holy Spirit to give you strength today.
