Reading: 1 Timothy 1:18-19; James 1:22-25
Devotional: Prophetic words often contain conditional elements—God reveals His plan, but we must respond in obedience. Timothy was encouraged to remember the prophecies spoken over him and to fight the good fight based on them. Hearing from God is not passive; it requires action. When God speaks direction, encouragement, or calling into your life, you have a choice to embrace it or ignore it. What has God been speaking to you lately? Perhaps through Scripture, through a sermon, or through a prompting in your spirit? Don't just be a hearer—be a doer. Take one concrete step today toward what you believe God is calling you to do. Trust that as you move in obedience, He will be faithful to complete what He started.
