Creating a Lasting Legacy

Reading: Matthew 6:19-21
Devotional: The world offers temporary treasures that rust, fade, and disappoint. But kingdom investments last forever. When someone surrenders their life to Jesus through your influence, you've participated in an eternal transaction that hell cannot reverse. This is why we pray, fast, serve, and sacrifice—not for fleeting earthly rewards, but for treasures stored in heaven. A lasting impact requires lasting commitment. The enemy wants you to sprint for a season and quit when results seem slow. But God calls you to marathon faithfulness. That neighbor you've been praying for may not respond this month or this year, but your consistent witness is building something eternal. Don't measure success by immediate results. Measure it by faithful obedience. The seeds you plant today may not bloom until long after you've moved on, but they will bloom. Keep sowing. Keep believing. Keep investing in what lasts forever.
Reflection: What eternal investment can you make today that will outlast your lifetime?
