LVCKids offers classes for ages birth - fifth grade during our Sunday morning service. Your child's safety and spiritual development are our top priority! All of our volunteers go through a multi-level background check, Ministry Safe training, and also attend other training throughout the year. In all of our children’s spaces you can expect a safe and loving environment where every child is known, valued, and able to express their God-given gifts and personality.
Seedlings - (Birth - 2)
Sprouts - (3 - Kindergarten)
Little Vines - (Grades 1-3)
Children age birth - third grade can be checked in and dropped off at class beginning at 9:55 am.
Branches - (Grades 4-5)
Fourth - fifth graders should be checked in prior to service and will be dismissed to their class after worship.
Though we have spaces designed just for kids, we also love to see parents and children participate in worship together. Children of all ages are always welcome in the larger church gathering, and we have a Mother's Room available in the sanctuary as well.
Each week, children are invited to participate in a multi-sensory, Christ centered journey through scripture, engage in thoughtful discussion, STEM experiments/activities, art that sparks curiosity and engages exploration, and worship that creates space for God to remind them of these core truths:
I am known, I am loved, I am led, and I am a child of God!
We believe that when kids truly experience the Gospel, their hearts are transformed and their identity is defined! We make room for big questions and big ideas while leaving no doubt about who God is and who we are in Him.
We also strongly believe that parents are the primary disciplers in their children’s lives. As such, we believe that partnering with parents in the spiritual development of their kids is one of the most vital things that we can do. We offer weekly Family Worship Experience resources that engage families to experience God's Big Story together by sparking wonder and reinforcing the weekly Sunday lesson. We believe that when families and the church come together for the sake of laying a strong Biblical and Spiritual foundation in their child’s life, incredible things can take place!
Our children's ministry has a check-in station for safety purposes. We ask all children be checked in prior to service starting. At check-in you will receive a matching code, please retain this code to pick up your child after service. If you are needed during service, your child code will come up on the screen.
