David committed adultery and murder. Peter denied Jesus three times. Yet both are heroes of faith. Why? Because they understood repentance and surrender. Failure in self-control doesn't disqualify you from God's kingdom—refusing to surrender does. The difference between Judas and Peter wasn't that one sinned worse than the other; it's that Peter returned to Jesus in brokenness while Judas stayed in shame. You will stumble. You will fall short. But when you partner surrender with self-control, failure becomes an opportunity for deeper dependence on God. Quick repentance keeps shame from taking root. Confession to trusted believers brings freedom. Stop hiding your struggles and start surrendering them. God's not finished with you yet. Your mess can become your message of His transforming grace.
